Dallas Arts District Engagement Session : Linh + Long

It's been such a long time since I've seen my childhood friend Linh. I was so eager to see her after she reached out to me to take photos. Even though they could have selected anyone they felt more comfortable working with someone they knew - and I don't blame them. I think I would feel the same too.  After countless days of checking the weather, the Dallas rain cleared up on Saturday afternoon and we set our sights on the Dallas Arts District. Linh was so stunning when she showed up for her engagement session with her fiance Long. The two looked so well put together!

Most couples I know want to do something a little more casual and have props or theme. But Linh and Long are people who are super chill and laid back. An optometrist and an anesthesiologist living in Houston, the couple wowed me when they decided to go practically black tie formal for the shoot. I loved it! It was so dramatic and completely opposite of their personalities that it was a lot of fun to pose them and see how they would respond. They were pretty easy going about me giving direction. Even though Linh considers herself awkward I didn't think so. Both of them carried this air of grace and elegance which worked so well for our backdrop of the Meyerson Symphony Hall and Dallas Performance Hall.

Congrats Linh & Long! Your wedding in November will be so amazing!!! Cannot wait to see you both tie the knot!
